~Savage Empire

Ultima: The Savage Empire.  

Collection of tips from R A Head.

The main quest of this game is to get back home. To achieve this you
must visit all the villages and unite them.


~Barako:

You must rescue Halisa from the gorilla, who lives on a ledge 
northwest of the village. Block the waterfall with the boulder to 
get into the cave.


~Pindiro:

German professor west of village (I think so it has been along time 
since I played this game, and am putting these tips together from 
some old notes I found)


~Kurak:

To get the villagers support you must find Aiela. She has been taken 
prisoner by the Urali. The secret entrance to the Uralis village is 
via a cave south west of the Yolaru village.


~Tichticatl:

Collect ten swords and take them to Yolaru.

Atlipacta weapon maker

`Bows           2 emeralds

Paxaptamac weaver

Will exchange one emerald for ten parrot feathers (use knife on 
dead parrot)

`Bamboo                  grows east of Tichticatl


~Yolaru:

You will find Professor Rafkin here, who you will need for his 
knowledge of various things. His laboratory is south of Kurak.


~Jukari:

You will also need Prof.Rafkin to help get across the lava beds to 
the cave west of the village in which you will find the sacred hide 
and some emeralds. 


~Haakar:

Find shield south of village in cave, use torches on webs.

~Disquiqui:

Find Jimmy here (good fighter).

You have to pass two tests here; drink a potion, and put noisemaker 
on sharptooth.

Sharptooth will be found southeast of village, put plachta on point 
of spear hit sharptooth with it he will fall down, use noisemaker 
(cowbell) on him.


~Sakkhra:

Kill Thunderer north of village.


~Barab:

Find a plant on the top of the great mesa. Take to chief who will 
use it on his sick son.

Tuomaxx will make the big drum with the skin of a sabre toothed 
tiger.  Drumhill is northwest of Tichticatl follow path.

Use device to find the black stone, kill the Myrmidex queen and 
break the stone with your sword.

Underground city Secret entrance and Transporter pad is located 
north east of the Barrab.The pad is made up of squares 6x6:
